Paper Mache Apples...Revisited

Today we're revisiting a fun fall craft we did a few years ago. It comes to mind every fall as the leaves start to change colour and the kids start coming indoors a little more due to weather. When this happens my girls start to get craft crazy.

This craft was easy and fun, even for mommy!

Here's how to make your own paper mache apple!

1. Ball up some newspaper to form your apple.

2. Put some masking tape around it to hold it in place, making sure to make a flat spot on the bottom so it can stand up, and a little dent in the top like a real apple would have.

3. Cover the thing in paper mache (we used a flour and water mixture) and put a little stick in the top of the dent while still wet.

Ours took a few days to dry, but when they were, we painted them our favorite apple colours, and mommy glued some leaves on the top.

Voila! Fun and Easy Fall craft!!
